2025 Sportsmanship Tournament

Welcome to the official site for the 2025 46th Annual Vail Sportsmanship Tournament.

In April of 2025, Dobson Ice Arena in Vail closed for a massive $55-million renovation. While this provides a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm for our entire ice community, it leaves us without Dobson to host our 46th Annual Sportsmanship Tournament in 2025. 

All games will be hosted at the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink facility in Eagle.  

This year's event will NOT have a stay-to-play option. 

Therefore, in certain divisions, we are going to have to hold a lottery to determine which teams we invite to participate. Lottery applications are due by August 1, 2025. When possible, please complete one application per association. 

Teams will be notified by email, no later than August 10, 2025. Upon acceptance, you will have two weeks to complete the tournament registration and submit payment (deposit only or full payment).

2025 TOURNAMENT GAME SCHEDULES

Welcome to registration for the 2025 46th Annual Vail Sportsmanship Tournament sponsored by the Vail Mountaineer Hockey Club!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or checking account information available.  

Please be aware that each team is required to provide the following documents prior to tournament participation

• USA Hockey Player Roster Form T-1, signed by Registrar
• Out of State teams must present an appropriate Travel Permit.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

• Pay in full at the time of registration via credit card or ACH transfer.
• Pay a $500 deposit at the time of registration via credit card or ACH transfer. The balance is due at least two weeks prior to start of each division. (Dates are detailed in the official tournament rules below.)
