Player Code of Conduct

Vail Mountaineer Hockey Club has a ZERO tolerance policy with respect to inappropriate behavior by players, parents, guardians, coaches that is detrimental to a rewarding hockey experience, violation of Vail Mountaineer Hockey Club’s Policies and Procedures which includes all aspects of VMHC’s SafeSport Program. The Coach has the authority to discipline for minor inappropriate behavior which may include extra skating, pushups, or other physical activity, or benching for all or part of a game. Coach will report the discipline to the VMHC Director of Hockey and to the player's parents. Each player understands repeated disciplinary actions at the team level or violation of SafeSport or VMHC policies and Procedures may lead to temporary suspension from VMHC activities and/or investigations by appropriate disciplinary authorities which may include Law Enforcement, or VMHC Disciplinary Committee Hearing, and possible suspension from all VMHC and/or USA Hockey activities.
