10U / 12U CoEd & Girls

Vail Mountaineer Coed teams compete in the Western Colorado Hockey League (WCHL) which consists of clubs mainly from the mountain communities - Aspen, Glenwood, Summit, Steamboat, West Elk, Telluride and Grand Junction.

Vail Mountaineer Girls teams compete in the Colorado Girls Hockey League (CGHL) which consists of clubs throughout Colorado mountain communities & the front range.

USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

• Prior to completing the VMHC registration, you must register your player with USA Hockey and obtain a new USAH # for the 2026-2027 season.

• Registration will open July 1, 2026.
• Pay in Full at the time of registration to save $100 off the fees.
• Fees below are good through July 31st. After August 1st, fees will increase $100.
• All players will pay an additional $50 Uniform Rental Fee for the season. 
• All families pay an additional $400 Parental Involvement Deposit, which is refundable once volunteer commitment is completed.
• When registering more than one player within the same family, register them at the same time and only pay ONE $400 deposit per FAMILY.

10U Squirts / Birth Years: 2016 & 2017

Registration: TBD 

• A limited number of 2017 birth year players, looking to play up in age group, can be considered for the 10U/Squirt program. Interested parents should contact the Club (kristi@vailmountaineers.org).
• Fees include approximately 45 total practice hours, 4 tournaments (at least 16 games), approximately 14-16 league games, WCHL playoffs (2-5 games) 
• Each player receives a practice jersey and game socks (to keep). The $50 uniform rental fees includes the use of 2 game jerseys and breezer covers. 

12U PeeWees / Birth Years: 2014 & 2015

Registration: TBD 

• Fees include approximately 60 total practice hours, 4 tournaments (at least 16 games), approximately 16-18 league games, WCHL playoffs (2-5 games) 
• Each player receives a practice jersey and game socks (to keep). The $50 uniform rental fees includes the use of 2 game jerseys and breezer covers. 

Girls 10U / Birth Years: 2016 & 2017 

Registration: TBD 

• Fees include approximately 40 total practice hours, Up to 3 tournaments (at least 12 games), approximately 16 league games, CGHL playoffs (4 games), potential additional friendly/non-league games
• Each player receives a practice jersey and game socks (to keep). The $50 uniform rental fees includes the use of 2 game jerseys and breezer covers. 

Girls 12U / Birth Years: 2014 & 2015

Registration: TBD 

• Fees include approximately 40 total practice hours, Up to 3 tournaments (at least 12 games), approximately 16 league games, CGHL playoffs (4 games), potential additional friendly/non-league games
• Each player receives a practice jersey and game socks (to keep). The $50 uniform rental fees includes the use of 2 game jerseys and breezer covers.
