Official site for the 2026 47th Annual Vail Sportsmanship Tournament

We are excited to announce Dobson Ice Arena in Vail is reopening after a massive $55-million renovation this Fall! Dobson to host our 47th Annual Sportsmanship Tournament in 2026. 

Division dates and locations are as follows:

Fri, 09-25 to Sun, 09-27 - Midget/High School Division at the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink

Fri, 10-30 to Sun, 11-01 - 14U B at the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink

Fri, 11-06 to Sun, 11-08 14U A at the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink

Fri, 11-13 Sun, 11-15 12U A & 12U B at Dobson & Eagle Pool & Ice Rink

Fri, 11-20 Sun, 11-22 10U A & 10U B at Dobson & Eagle Pool & Ice Rink

For all weekends that start on November 6th or later we require Stay to Play. 

Tournament registration for the 18U will open Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Registration for all other registrations will open on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Welcome to registration for the 2026 47th Annual Vail Sportsmanship Tournament sponsored by the Vail Mountaineer Hockey Club!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or checking account information available.  

Please be aware that each team is required to provide the following documents prior to tournament participation

• USA Hockey Player Roster Form T-1, signed by Registrar
• Out of State teams must present an appropriate Travel Permit.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

• Pay in full at the time of registration via credit card or ACH transfer.
• Pay a $500 deposit at the time of registration via credit card or ACH transfer. The balance is due at least two weeks prior to start of each division. (Dates are detailed in the official tournament rules below.)
